Well, the President's vacation ends tomorrow. Back to "work."

Exercise: Try *barely* getting hired for a job, work for six months, then go on vacation for nearly a month. See if they let you back in the door when you return.

Meanwhile, the budget surplus isn't so superfluous anymore, and it looks like they'll be digging into Social Security to make the budget work. And hang on to your tax "rebate"; it's actually an advance on 2001's taxes (pdf), so you might need to give it back if you owe taxes for 2001.

I'm not aggressively political, but I find this disturbing.
