About fifteen minutes after I put her picture on this site, Pearl figured out how to take off the head cone thing. Boxers are smart and good with their front feet.

But after she took it off, she just went back to sleep, jowls flapped out on the carpet.

She's started to lick at the sore spot on her leg a couple of times, but I've caught her. She looks like she knows she's not supposed to do it. And she stops right away.

So I'm giving her a chance to do without the ridiculous headpiece for a while. If all she's going to do is sleep, I don't see the point. But if she starts working her leg any, it's back in the collar for her.
