Direct from the webcam, here's a picture of Pearl in her pretty new bonnet.

She got her splint taken off today, but there's a sore spot inside her ankle where the splint was rubbing her. She has to wear this horrible head cone for a couple of days while that heals up a little. She utterly hates it.

But the good news is that her toe seems to be healing up just fine. She probably won't have to wear the splint anymore. She still needs to take it easy and not run, which will be hard, but the fact that she's obviously on the mend makes us all feel better.

We're going to keep her inside for a few days so the other kids won't laugh at her.
