In the Microsoft antitrust case, the federal appeals court ruled that Judge Jackson acted like an idiot and couldn't keep his mouth shut. They threw out the remedy recommended by Jackson, a breakup of the company. The media goes nuts: "Microsoft wins!"

But the findings of fact were upheld, which makes Microsoft just as guilty of abusing monopoly power as they were the day the findings were released.
