My dad was here this weekend for a quick visit. He's been busy lately and it was nice for him to get away and just relax.

We went to a Cardinals game, which turned out to be a lot of fun. They broke their four game losing streak, and the weather was perfect. I have this strange red line on my right arm which is below where my t-shirt covered and above where my sunscreen stopped. Could have been a lot worse...

Dad helped me finish a few projects around the house, too. Getting free labor from parental visitors is a unwritten rule of our home. Sad, but true.

I've had a cold and felt a little puny all weekend, but I had a good time. I like seeing my folks, and it was good to have him come visit us here. Hopefully he and Mom can work out their schedules, the dog care situation, and everything else so they visit us together sometime soon.
