We've seen several Cardinals games, and we've never seen that Mark McGwire hit a home run. Kinda like going to Walt Disney World every summer but never riding "it's a small world".

We've seen him strike out three times in a game. And hit a single or two. But home runs are the specialty, and we have had some sort of anti-home run stink on us.

But yesterday, we went to the park on a great Memorial Day afternoon with perfect weather, and to everyone's surprise, McGwire started the game, his first since the middle of April.

And in the sixth inning, he hit a solo home run. Right over by where he hit #62.
