Music Gear

I'm working on a project for my job which has allowed me to resurrect my old music gear and make some sounds.

It's been fun. I forgot how much I enjoyed this sort of thing. The nice part about it not really being part of my job is that I can just have fun and not be pretentious about it. "I'm a musician, man..."

I'm also enjoying using the built-in sequencer of my 01W/fd. It's really pretty good. I wish I could be using the old workhorse Vision (I had/have v3.something), but since I don't use my Mac at all and Opcode has apparently died a painful death at the hands of guitar monkeys, I will stick to the basics. I'm only doing little two bar things anyway.

Maybe I should look into some Windows sequencers. All the demos I've tried have failed on my computer because it has Windows 2000 and two processors. Glad I paid extra for software to not work.

Anyway, that creaking sound you hear is the gears of creativity trying to move a little after being long dormant. Fun!
