My wife is on a business trip.

That seems like a weird thing to say, since this is her first business trip that I can recall. It definitely won't be the last.

Julie is in Washington D.C. for an intellectual property law conference, and will be gone until Tuesday night. Meanwhile, I am doing my normal things, but they don't feel normal. The house is too quiet this morning.

Oh well, only two more days...
