Cool: This week, I got a check from APress, the publishing company that bought the rights to publish the MySQL book I co-authored.

I had basically given up on the work I'd done, expecting that I'd never get paid, but most disappointing, that I'd never see a finished book on the shelf at my local bookstore. From what I understand, the book should be out by July. This makes me happy.
