I started a new job today. I'm working at Object Computing, Inc. as their systems manager.
OCI is a software engineering and consulting firm in St. Louis. They specialize in distributed object-oriented software. You call OCI when you need something done that's really hard and you'd like to have exceptionally smart people working on it.
It's only been one day, but I like it so far. It's certainly good to be working again, and OCI is just the sort of place I was hoping to work. More details later.
The dogs will have some adjusting to do. They won't have Dad around the house anymore, so their living room time will become more precious.
