Apple just announced a giant PowerBook and a wee tiny PowerBook. I have my eye on the wee tiny model; as an owner of a PowerBook Duo 230, I perked up when Steve Jobs said it was "even smaller than the Duos, if you remember those."
Not sure if I want a TV tray sized laptop, but the 12" PowerBook fixes most of the problems I had with the iBook. (G4, dual monitors, SuperDrive-capable.) And, it's shiny. If only it had the flashy glow-in-the-dark keyboard...
Apple's got a commercial for the new models that I think is very clever. Yao Ming can reach the overhead bin while still seated. You can only see the top half of Verne Troyer's face behind the 17" PowerBook screen. It's funny.
