I've noticed a funny behavior pattern in the dogs.

At night, Pearl wants to sleep on our bed (with us), while Maggie likes to sneak downstairs and sleep in the chair in the living room, usually curled up in a little ball.

But after breakfast, Maggie comes upstairs and sleeps all sprawled out in the middle of our bed, and Pearl hops up in the living room chair and sleeps there.

It's like they're changing shifts at the Chair Sitting Factory. Maggie works the midnight to 8:00 am shift, and Pearl works 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Every day at 4:00 pm (often at exactly 4:00 pm), they both wake up and start playing.
