A bit of history in the middle of the night. Amazingly, the USA advances to the quarterfinals in the World Cup. And it was worth staying up to watch.

I guess they could've made the game a bit more violent if they'd handed out long swords to all the players. It was messy. Glad to know that head-butts are still grounds for a red card.

Good game plan, nice execution, a couple of quality goals, and some luck. What else do you need?

Happily, I won't even have to wake up in the middle of the night to watch the match on Friday.
