Part of the fun of having a web site is looking at the logs. Who visited, what did they see, what site did they come from, etc. Dorks like me enjoy that sort of thing.

When someone arrives here from a search engine like Google, it's interesting and sometimes disturbing to see what search terms pointed that person in my direction.

I made a great discovery on Monday thanks to this sort of log file spelunking. At the moment, if you search for "jowls" on Google, the #1 result (out of over two billion web pages) is this news item.

That made my day.

Of course, there's no guarantee that it will stay this way, but until it changes, it's pretty cool.

I can't think of a better example of the subject matter, can you?
